High Performance Imaging Camera Enters Full Production

Teledyne DALSA’s new Falcon4-CLHS M4480 industrial imaging camera is able to reach 609 frames per second in full 11.2 megapixel resolution By DA Editor / 09 Nov 2021

Teledyne DALSA has started full production of its Falcon4-CLHS M4480 camera, which is based on the Teledyne e2v Lince 11.2M monochrome sensor.

The new Falcon4-CLHS model delivers an easy-to-use CLHS interface camera that has been specifically engineered for industrial imaging applications requiring high-speed data transfer. This latest model can reach a frame rate of up to 609 fps in full 11.2 MP resolution, and multiple thousands of frames per second in partial scan mode. When using the sensor’s binning mode, it can reach a very large pixel full well capacity of over 160Ke.

The Falcon4-CLHS leverages standard cabling technology such as CX4 and fiber optic (AOC) cables to maximize length and speed. The cameras are engineered to deliver high-speed, dependable results for applications such as machine vision industrial automation, flat panel display inspection, semiconductor inspection, PCB-AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), aerial imaging, and general machine vision applications that require true high-performance imaging.
