HIKMICRO, a subsidiary of HIKVISION, has announced its formal entry into the global instrumentation market with the launch of new high-precision Coriolis and Ultrasonic flow meters. This move is part of the company’s broader objective to establish a comprehensive industrial platform that integrates production control, predictive maintenance, and safety solutions.
The company is known for its ability to integrate chip design and manufacturing, core algorithm development, and full testing and production, which has enabled it to make advanced thermal imaging technology accessible across various industries. This chip-to-system approach aims to disrupt the high-price dominance traditionally held by larger industry players, facilitating wider adoption of predictive maintenance and enhancing production safety for more organizations.
Stefan Li, Overseas Market Director of HIKMICRO, stated, “Factories increasingly need affordable solutions for production control and digital transformation. Our expansion into instrumentation naturally extends from our thermal imaging expertise. As a subsidiary of HIKVISION established in 2016, HIKMICRO is one of the few manufacturers that integrates chip design and manufacturing, core algorithm development, and testing and production.”
The newly introduced flow meters leverage HIKMICRO’s expertise in sensor development, signal processing, and calibration. The FC00 Coriolis Mass Flow Meter offers a measurement accuracy of ±0.1% for liquids and ±0.5% for gases, making it suitable for applications where precision is crucial, such as in the food and beverage industries. It features AI-enhanced temperature compensation, ensuring a density accuracy of <0.001g/cm³, and includes built-in diagnostics for system integrity monitoring. The FC00 also incorporates ultra-fast 8000 samples/sec digital processing to improve measurement reliability and response times in demanding industrial environments.
Concurrently, the FU00 Ultrasonic Flow Meter provides ±0.5% accuracy in water applications. Its non-invasive design helps eliminate pressure loss and downtime. The FU00 is equipped with smart AI diagnostics that continuously assess signal quality and probe performance to ensure optimal operation.
HIKMICRO's entry into the flow measurement sector highlights its commitment to delivering reliable, high-accuracy technology to a broader market. By combining in-house chip design and advanced algorithms with significant manufacturing scale, the company aims to offer instruments that meet stringent industrial standards without the traditional cost barriers that have historically hindered digital transformation in various industries.
Operating in over 100 countries, HIKMICRO currently provides a diverse portfolio including handheld thermal cameras, acoustic imaging devices, and fixed thermography systems. The addition of these new flow measurement instruments expands its offerings into production control, creating an integrated platform designed for continuous monitoring, early fault detection, and process optimization under a single brand. This expansion reinforces HIKMICRO's position as a partner for industries seeking practical and scalable solutions to enhance efficiency, improve safety, and accelerate digital transformation.
